1.Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen has stressed that Taiwan will not bow to pressure from China, which has made clear it will not renounce the use of force to achieve reunification.
2.A eulogy for former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo was read at a plenary session of the Lower House of the country’s Diet on Tuesday. Abe was fatally shot in July while making a campaign speech in western Japan.
