1. North Korea’s state-run media reports that the country conducted a launch drill of a Hwasong-12 intermediate-range ballistic missile on Tuesday, with leader Kim Jong Un observing.
2. The U.N. Security Council has strongly condemned North Korea’s firing of a ballistic missile over Japan and demanded that Pyongyang immediately halt such actions.
3. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Moon Jae-in have agreed to seek a tougher U.N. Security Council resolution on North Korea in cooperation with the United States.
