1. China’s special representative on Korean Peninsula affairs and his South Korean counterpart have agreed that improvement in inter-Korean relations will help create an environment for resuming dialogue for denuclearization of North Korea.
2. The Chinese government says it is limiting exports of crude oil and refined oil products to North Korea in line with new U.N. sanctions on the North.
3. The U.N. Security Council has discussed deadly anti-government protests in Iran. The United States called on Iran to improve its human rights situation. But Russia and China argued that it is a domestic issue.
