An Iranian state-run media outlet says the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has redefined the operational zone of the Strait of Hormuz to significantly expand its boundaries. The report on Tuesday said the IRGC has redefined the area as a strategic zone stretching from the port city of Jask on the Gulf of Oman in the east to an area beyond Qeshm Island — the largest island in the Persian Gulf — in the west.
